The 2026 spring turkey hunting season starts today, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
Hunters interested in what to expect can view the season forecast, which is based on observations shared voluntarily by hunters. These observations are collected through the department’s Spring Gobbler Hunting Survey.
