Baldwyn Career Center Students Donate Chairs for Fundraiser Raffle
Students in the Baldwyn Career Advancement Center’s furniture manufacturing class donated children’s chairs for an upcoming fundraiser organized by the Baldwyn Boys and Girls Club, according to a post from the school district.
Class taught by Lance Wesson built the chairs during class time. The chairs will be raffled off at the Black Tie Affair fundraiser, the post said.
Superintendent Raymond Craven and Mayor Roslynn Clark were also pictured in the post, thanking the partnership between the school and the community organization. The post expressed appreciation for the collaboration and support for the event.
The fundraiser aims to support the Boys and Girls Club of Baldwyn, which provides youth programs in the area.
