Baldwyn High FCCLA Club Members Win Awards at State Conference

The Baldwyn High School FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) club participated in the state conference in Natchez, according to school officials.

Participants from BHS included Kylan Billups, who took second place in Job Interview; Taliyah Tolbert, who finished second in Restaurant Server; Russ Morgan, who placed third in Early Childhood Picture File; and Kalik Sampson, who earned fifth in Early Childhood Storybook.

Billups, Tolbert, and Morgan each received a half-year scholarship for two years at a local community college, the school said. The club is sponsored by teacher Amy Hamblin.

School officials highlighted the students’ achievements on social media, noting their success at the event and scholarship awards.
