Baldwyn High School senior DeAsia Price had the opportunity to shadow at Elite Physical Therapy in Saltillo on Thursday, according to a statement from the student.
Price said the experience enhanced her understanding of the physical therapy field and reaffirmed her interest in pursuing it as a career. She noted that the role involves more than treating injuries; it also focuses on helping people regain mobility.
During her day at the clinic, Price observed how therapists work with patients recovering from injuries or surgery. She watched them assist patients with exercises aimed at strengthening and improving movement.
She expressed gratitude to the staff at Elite Physical Therapy for providing her with this valuable learning opportunity.
