Baldwyn High Senior Completes Job Shadow at Booneville Printing Company
Baldwyn High School senior Kilik Sampson shadowed at Print Villains in Booneville on Tuesday. The company specializes in creating custom design templates, promotional products, and embroidery. Their services include screen printing, direct-to-film, large and small format printing, and UV printing, according to the business.
Sampson, who has long been interested in the industry, created his own shirt during the visit and observed the entire process, including direct-to-film printing and pressing. “During my job shadow in clothing design, I learned that creating a product is more than just making something look good; it requires thought, planning, and purpose,” he said.
Sampson added that designing his own shirt and custom cup helped him understand how branding, color choices, and details work together to tell a story. He expressed gratitude to the Print Villains team for the opportunity, saying it helped him see his growth as both a designer and potential entrepreneur.
Print Villains’ team members supported Sampson’s learning experience, which they described as a valuable opportunity for a student interested in the field of custom printing and design.
