Baldwyn High Students Tour Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

Mrs. DeVaughn’s U.S. history classes from Baldwyn High School toured the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Birmingham, Alabama, according to school officials.

During the visit, students explored exhibits that highlighted key events of the Civil Rights Movement from the 1950s to the 1970s, gaining a deeper understanding of the era’s significance, the school said.

After the museum tour, students were treated to lunch at Freddy’s in Jasper, Alabama, the school added.
