Baldwyn Senior Explores Physical Therapy and College Options

Baldwyn High School senior Katlyn Evans spent time at Elite Physical Therapy, shadowing staff and observing patient care, according to a school post.

Evans described her experience as positive, noting that watching therapists work with patients with diverse mobility issues inspired her interest in the field. She said the staff’s compassionate approach made her want to pursue a career in physical therapy.

She also completed a one-on-one college visit to Itawamba Community College in Fulton, as part of her college exploration. Evans expressed enthusiasm about her experiences, indicating that physical therapy could become her preferred career path.

Her activities align with her ongoing efforts to explore career and educational opportunities, according to the school.
