Baldwyn students design developmentally appropriate toys for educator prep assignment
Students in Mrs. Crane’s Year 1 Educator Preparation class at Baldwyn School District completed a project focused on human growth and development. Each group was assigned a developmental stage and tasked with designing a toy suitable for children at that stage.
The students were required to build their toys from scratch, emphasizing creativity and understanding of child development. The project aimed to help future educators better grasp the needs of children at various ages.
District officials praised the students’ efforts, with the school sharing photos of the creative, handmade toys. The project highlights the district’s commitment to hands-on learning and student engagement.
