Bearcats Return to School for Regular Schedule
Students at the local school district returned to classes today, and officials expressed enthusiasm for welcoming them back. The district is operating on a regular schedule.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3, will be a standard school day. Buses will run on traditional routes, and start times remain unchanged. The tardy bell at the high school (grades 5-12) will ring at 7:30 a.m., and at the elementary school (BES), it will ring at 7:45 a.m.
Parents and students are advised to contact school offices or teachers if they are still experiencing power or water outages to be excused from attendance. The district encourages community members to stay safe and connected as they return to normal routines.
The district shared a message of appreciation for the community’s patience during recent disruptions. Officials also acknowledged the support of families and staff throughout the situation.
