BHS Bearcat boys basketball team advances to state semi-finals in Jackson

The BHS Bearcat boys basketball team has advanced to the state semi-finals, which will be held in Jackson next Wednesday, March 4, at 12 p.m., according to school officials.

There will be no school on March 4 to accommodate the game. Classes will resume on Thursday, March 5, and the school will make up the missed day on Monday, April 6.

Supporters are encouraged to cheer for the team as they compete for a spot in the finals. The school’s hashtag #heartofabearcat was shared with the announcement.
