BHS Boys Basketball team wins Division 1-2A title in Hamilton

The BHS boys basketball team claimed the Division 1-2A championship title Tuesday night in Hamilton with a win over New Site, according to school officials.

The victory secures the team’s spot in the first round of the playoffs, the officials said.

Meanwhile, the BHS Lady Cats finished third after defeating Hatley, and they will travel to Myrtle on Monday for their playoff game. The Bearcats are set to host Bruce on Tuesday.

School officials congratulated both teams for their achievements and playoff advancements.
