Booneville Gas and Water Department Urges Conservation Amid Cold Weather

The City of Booneville has assured residents that it is not running out of natural gas. According to city officials, gas pressure has been temporarily low because of extreme usage during the ongoing cold weather event.

City crews are actively monitoring the situation and working to ensure reliable service. Officials ask residents to conserve natural gas, especially during peak hours, to help maintain steady pressure across the system.

For further assistance, residents can call 662-416-1882. Mayor Lori Tucker expressed appreciation for residents’ patience and cooperation during this time.
