Booneville Hosts Community Cleanup Day on April 11

Booneville is holding a community cleanup event on April 11 to promote environmental health and city beautification. The event is part of the nationwide Greatest American Cleanup campaign.

Participants are invited to meet at the Booneville Depot at 8 a.m. to receive supplies such as grabbers, gloves, vests, and trash bags. Volunteers are encouraged to spend at least 20 minutes cleaning designated areas across the city.

Organizers urge residents to share their cleanup success photos on social media using the hashtags #GreatestAmericanCleanup and #DoBeautifulThings. The event offers an opportunity for students, civic groups, and community members to contribute to local beautification efforts and meet others who care about Booneville.

For questions, organizers can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 662-728-5601, extension 9, or 662-416-9278.
