Booneville Hosts Community Cleanup Event on April 11
Booneville residents are encouraged to join a community cleanup day on April 11 to help beautify public spaces. The event is part of the ongoing Greatest American Cleanup campaign, which promotes environmental stewardship through volunteer efforts.
Participants will meet at 8 a.m. at the Booneville Depot to receive supplies including grabbers, gloves, vests, and trash bags. Volunteers are asked to spend at least 20 minutes cleaning a designated area.
Organizers suggest sharing before-and-after photos on social media using the hashtags #GreatestAmericanCleanup and #DoBeautifulThings. The event provides an opportunity for students, civic groups, and individuals to engage in service projects and meet others who care about the community.
For questions, organizers advise calling the Booneville office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 662-728-5601, ext. 9, or 662-416-9278.
Participants are encouraged to take part in this effort to make Booneville cleaner and more beautiful.
