Supplies are available to the public at the Downtown Hardware Building in Booneville. The city’s efforts are supported by Bishop Carl Dewitt of the Booneville Latter Day Saints, who organized a shipment through their Humanitarian Services from Atlanta, Georgia.
Booneville city directors and employees helped unload the supplies, along with volunteers from the First Pentecostal Church of Booneville and Pastor Jonathan Soden. The distribution began at 10:30 a.m. and will continue until supplies run out.
Residents are encouraged to enter the building from the south side, near Triangle Park, to receive supplies. The city of Booneville shared the information via social media.
