Booneville Mayor Tucker and several city officials attended the Mississippi Municipality League Mid-Winter Conference in Jackson over the past few days. The group included LaVaile Shields, Tara Lauderdale, Jimmy Hicks, and Sharon Ramey.
Also present was State Representative Tracy Arnold. The officials participated in sessions dedicated to growth and development initiatives.
The city expressed appreciation for the efforts at both the local and state levels to improve Booneville’s economic development. The event highlighted ongoing commitments to making Booneville a better community, according to a city statement.
