Booneville Reminds Residents of Trash Collection Policies Ahead of July 4th

The City of Booneville has issued a reminder to residents regarding its trash collection policies. Waste Connections, the city’s waste service provider, states that only garbage in the designated trash cart and up to two 33-gallon bags placed beside the cart will be collected.

Residents are asked to have their trash out by 6 a.m. on their scheduled collection day. The city advises breaking down boxes inside the trash cart to maximize space. For those needing an extra trash cart, they can contact Booneville Gas & Water at 662-728-6259.

Officials also shared that there are graphics available for personal reference, outlining Waste Connections and Street Department guidelines. For additional questions about the trash policy, residents are directed to contact Booneville City Hall at 662-728-5601, extension 1.

Regarding the upcoming July 4th holiday, the city announced there will be no change to the weekly trash collection schedule, as the holiday falls on a Saturday.

The city encourages residents to adhere to these policies to ensure smooth waste collection services during the holiday week.
