Booneville School District Cancels Classes Due to Power Outages
The Booneville School District announced that schools will be closed Monday due to ongoing power outages impacting many families in the area. Officials plan to resume classes Tuesday, pending conditions, and will provide updates if needed.
The district has scheduled Presidents Day, February 16,, as a makeup day for the missed school day. In the meantime, a warming shelter and hot food station are available at the West Side Community Center at Swift Park for anyone in need.
