Booneville Schools Boys and Girls Basketball Teams Headed to State Tournament

Booneville High School announced that both its boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will compete in the upcoming state tournament in Jackson.

The school will dismiss students early at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Students attending the tournament may check out early without penalty, provided they show a screenshot of their ticket, according to school officials.

The girls’ team is scheduled to play at 3 p.m., followed by the boys’ team at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be held at The Big House, the school’s gymnasium, officials said.

School officials encouraged students and fans to support the teams at the tournament, sharing the message on social media with the hashtag #GoDevs.
