Booneville Sets April 15 Deadline for Ice Storm Fern Debris Pickup

Booneville residents have until April 15 to place Ice Storm Fern debris at the curb for collection, according to city officials. Debris should be positioned approximately 5 feet from the roadway and not extend into traffic lanes.

Truck routes will resume today, April 7, to collect debris. Residents are advised to keep trash and debris in separate piles and avoid mixing them.

As of now, the city has collected about 177,000 cubic yards of debris from the storm. The total includes 4,252 cuts, such as hangers and leaners, according to city officials. For questions or to confirm debris collection, residents can call 662-728-7018.
