The Booneville Street Department announced that street paving will begin Thursday on the north portion of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Drivers can expect temporary lane closures and possible delays in the area, according to city officials. The department urges residents to use caution and follow posted signage during construction.
The paving project aims to improve street safety and community convenience, the city said. Work is scheduled to start March 5, with completion dates to be announced.
The city thanked residents for their patience and cooperation during the improvements.
