Booneville urges residents to properly dispose of storm debris
Booneville city officials are continuing debris removal efforts across all wards. Crews are working to clear storm debris from neighborhoods.
Residents are asked to place only natural storm debris, such as tree limbs, branches, leaves, and other vegetation, at the city right-of-way. Debris should be at least 5 feet from the road and not in the roadway itself.
City officials emphasize that storm debris should not be mixed with household garbage, construction materials, plastics, metals, or other non-natural items. They also request residents avoid placing debris near mailboxes or water meters.
For concerns or questions, residents can contact Booneville City Hall at 662-728-5601. Officials say keeping debris separated will help ensure faster pickup and prevent delays in each ward.
The city thanks residents for their cooperation and patience as crews work to restore the community.
