East Central holds off Northeast for 77-74 victory in men’s basketball

East Central University’s men’s basketball team defeated Northeast Mississippi Community College 77-74 on Friday night.

Northeast had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer at the buzzer, but the shot rimmed out, according to officials.

The Tigers will host Mississippi Delta in their final regular-season home game Thursday at 7:30 p.m., the school announced.
