First Circuit District Attorney Announces Operation Reload
The First Circuit District Attorney’s Office announced the launch of Operation Reload, a continuation of the earlier Operation Overload. The original operation resulted in significant law enforcement success, including 793 citations issued, 51 illegal drug and firearm-related charges, and 23 other charges.
Additionally, 16 illegal aliens were referred to or detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during Operation Overload, according to the district attorney’s office. The DA’s office expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of multiple local, state, and federal agencies involved in the effort.
Jason D. Herring, District Attorney for the First Circuit Court District, credited the combined efforts for the success of the operations. Further details about Operation Reload were not provided.
