The First Lady will host a community food event at the NEMCC Health & Nutrition Center on March 19 at 6 p.m., according to organizers.
The event, part of The Calendar Kitchen Food series, will showcase a variety of seasonal dishes, including king cake, heart-shaped biscuits, corned beef and cabbage, and more. The cost is $20 per person.
