Hinds defeats Northeast 87-74 in college basketball game

Hinds Community College defeated Northeast Mississippi Community College 87-74 in a men’s basketball game Thursday night.

The Tigers will return to action Saturday against Gulf Coast, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m., according to school officials.

The game was part of the college’s ongoing basketball schedule, with both teams competing in the Mississippi Community College Athletic Association.
