Intermittent lane closures are scheduled on both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 55 at exit 233 near Pope Road in Yalobusha County on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be stopped in 15-minute intervals while utility crews work to repair power lines along the highway. Law enforcement will be on scene to assist with traffic control.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area and stay alert for roadside workers. Drivers should plan for potential delays during the scheduled maintenance window.
