Jackson DPS Station Reopens After System Downtime

The Jackson Department of Public Safety station reopened at 10:04 a.m. on March 16, following a system outage. Officials ask for patience as systems are restored.

Residents are encouraged to schedule appointments at dps.ms.gov. The Vicksburg station remains closed for now, according to department officials.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety has more than 1,000 sworn and non-sworn employees. These staff members work daily to enhance safety across the state by patrolling roads, combating drug activity, and providing training.
