Local basketball teams prepare for playoff games this weekend

The Bearcats and Lady Cats are competing in the second round of the playoffs this weekend. Fans are encouraged to show their support for the teams.

The Lady Cats will face Kemper County on Friday, Feb. 20, at Kemper County High School. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

The Bearcats will play Charleston on Saturday, Feb. 21, at BHS Gym. That game also begins at 6 p.m., according to school officials.

Supporters are urged to wear school colors and cheer on the teams as they aim for advancing further in the playoffs.
