Man charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse in Prentiss County
The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department has received a report of juvenile sexual abuse, prompting an investigation that led to criminal charges against Michael Lee Hudson, 43, of Booneville, officials said.
After an investigation, affidavits were signed, and Hudson was charged with two counts of statutory rape, two counts of sexual battery, and three counts of promoting prostitution of a child, according to authorities.
Craig Bishop, justice court judge, set Hudson’s bond at $1.25 million, cash or professional bond only. The investigation remains ongoing, and investigator Torie Jumper is expected to present the case to the next Prentiss County grand jury.
Investigators Aaron Stolz and Kolby Knight are assisting with the case, officials said.
