MASRO 2026 Conference Gains Momentum with Over 200 Registrations

More than 200 participants, including school resource officers, safety officers, and educators, have registered for the 2026 MASRO Conference set for July 12-17 in Biloxi, according to organizers. The registration represents commitments from 46 agencies across Mississippi.

Organizers say the high level of engagement demonstrates a statewide dedication to improving school safety and strengthening partnerships between law enforcement and educational leaders. “This level of participation reflects a statewide commitment to professionalism and collaboration,” a conference spokesperson stated.

Officials announced that the first wave of invoices will be sent out March 1. Agencies are encouraged to ensure their purchase orders and payment processes are aligned with conference deadlines. Organizers described the event as an opportunity to build impactful initiatives for school safety, emphasizing that registration is ongoing.

The conference aims to set a standard for school safety efforts across Mississippi and continues to attract interest from law enforcement agencies statewide, organizers said.
