The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is reminding private landowners and managers to register for an upcoming prescribed fire workshop in Tate County.
The workshop, scheduled for March 6, 2026, will be held at 2600 Jason Patrick Road in Holly Springs. It aims to demonstrate how fire can be used as a tool for wildlife habitat enhancement and timber management.
Experienced fire practitioners will be available to answer questions during the hands-on event. Registration is required to attend. More information and registration details are available on the MDWFP website.
