Spring fishing season is underway in Mississippi, and a new record has been set at Mary Crawford State Lake, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
John Berry caught a 3.25-pound crappie, marking a new lake record. The department congratulated Berry on his achievement.
