Mississippi Bureau of Investigation Holds Second Annual General Assembly
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation hosted its second annual General Assembly, bringing together agents from across the state. The event featured updates and highlights from regional majors, the Crime Scene Unit, and the Special Operations Group.
Officials emphasized the ongoing dedication of MBI staff to public safety in Mississippi. The assembly also recognized outstanding personnel with awards.
This year’s award recipients included Tammy Black of the MBI Victim Assistance Center, named Support Staff of the Year, and Norman Harris, a special agent with the MBI District 1 and FBI Civil Rights Task Force, named Agent of the Year. The agency expressed appreciation for all staff members’ professionalism and service to the state.
