Deer hunting season in most of Mississippi will close Saturday, marking the end of the 2025-2026 season for many hunters, according to state wildlife officials.
However, the Southeast Management Unit will stay open until Feb. 15. Hunters planning one last outing should verify season dates and bag limits before heading out, officials advised.
