The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is reminding private landowners and managers to register for an upcoming prescribed fire workshop scheduled for March 6, 2026, in Tate County.
The event will be held at 2600 Jason Patrick Road in Holly Springs. It offers a hands-on experience demonstrating how prescribed fire can be used as an effective tool for enhancing wildlife habitat and managing timberlands, according to department officials.
