Mississippi governor meets NASA administrator at Stennis Space Center
Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves met with NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman at NASA headquarters Tuesday. The visit included a tour of the agency’s facilities and discussions on how Mississippi can strengthen partnerships with the Trump administration to support NASA’s work.
Reeves highlighted the importance of NASA’s work at the John C. Stennis Space Center, describing it as some of the most advanced in the world. The governor also viewed a moon rock valued at more than $1 billion, according to his social media posts.
The meeting underscored ongoing efforts to bolster collaboration between Mississippi and NASA, with a focus on maintaining the agency’s cutting-edge research and development activities.
