Mississippi Governor Thanks Partners for Winter Storm Response
Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves met with U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, FEMA officials, military leaders, first responders, and utility linemen to discuss the state’s response to recent winter storms.
Reeves said the state continues to operate a coordinated, whole-of-government effort to manage the emergency. He expressed gratitude to all partners for their support in helping Mississippi recover from the historic storm.
Reeves emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration as the state works to restore services and address damages caused by the severe winter weather.
