Hunter Farrior, founder of Spring Legion Turkey Hunting, joined the Mississippi Outdoors Podcast to share his story. Farrior began his turkey hunting venture in 2019 from a trailer in Learned, Mississippi, with no internet, no warehouse, and no plan, according to the podcast.
Farrior recounted how he unexpectedly published his first book during quarantine and sold his first hat before knowing how to ship it. He also described an incident where an 18-wheeler delivered pallets to his residential address.
He discussed what sets turkey hunters apart and explained the meaning of woodsmanship. Farrior also revealed why he hunted the same turkey 83 times.
