Members of the Mississippi Paddle Mafia have spent the past 20 years exploring Mississippi’s rivers and lakes together, according to Mississippi Outdoors.

The group launched from Leake County, with paddlers like Camilia Richards sharing what being on the water means to them. Richards described paddling as a way to find peace, connect with others, and build a community centered around outdoor recreation in Mississippi.
