Mississippi Trapper Harvest Survey Now in the Mail

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has begun mailing the 2025–2026 Trapper Harvest Survey to licensed trappers across the state, department officials announced.

Trappers are encouraged to complete the survey and return it using the prepaid postage envelope provided. The deadline for submission is May 1, 2026.

According to state regulations, any licensed trapper who fails to complete and return the survey may be denied a trapping license the following year, as outlined in Title 40, Mississippi Administrative Code, Part 2, Rule 6.1.
