Mississippi Wild Turkey Season Set for March to May 2026
The 2026 spring wild turkey hunting season in Mississippi will begin on March 14 and run through May 3, according to state wildlife officials.
Under Mississippi law, if the season ends on a Friday, it extends until 30 minutes after sunset on the following Sunday. This year, the season will be extended accordingly, but the extension does not affect the annual bag limit, officials said.
