Mississippi Wild Turkey Stamp now available for 2026 spring season

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks has announced that the Wild Turkey Stamp for the 2026 spring turkey season is now available for purchase. Hunters planning to hunt wild turkeys this spring and age 16 or older are required to buy the stamp, unless exempt.

The annual stamp costs $10 for residents and $100 for non-residents. Funds from the program support wild turkey management, research, and habitat conservation efforts across the state, according to MDWFP.

Hunters can purchase the stamp through the MDWFP HuntFish app, the license portal, any license vendor location, or by calling 1-800-5GO-HUNT. After purchasing, hunters will receive three wild turkey harvest identifiers for use with the MDWFP Game Check system.
