The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks announced that the application period for the 2026 Wildlife Management Area Spring Turkey Draw Hunts ends on Jan. 31.
Hunters interested in participating can find more information and apply online at the department’s website. The application window opened earlier this month and closes at the end of January, according to the agency.
Non-residents planning to hunt public land from March 7 to 31 must also apply for a Public Land License Endorsement. That application period runs from Jan. 15 through Jan. 31. Details are available on the department’s website.
The department encourages all hunters to submit their applications before the deadline to secure their chance at participating in the spring turkey hunts on Mississippi’s public lands.
