Mississippi Wildlife Dive Team Completes Certification Training

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks’ Law Enforcement Special Response Team (SRT) Dive Team spent a day at GRIT Training last week to complete their full face mask certification.

The team conducted several dive scenarios as part of their training, aiming to sharpen their skills for real-world situations. The department credited GRIT Training for providing facilities and support to help officers stay prepared.

MDWFP’s SRT regularly trains throughout the year to ensure readiness for a variety of challenges in the field, according to department officials.
