The North East Mississippi Community College Foundation announced that Brandon Windham of Booneville has been awarded the Barbara & Ken Shackelford Endowment Scholarship.
Foundation scholarships like the Shackelford award are funded through donations aimed at helping students pursue higher education. College officials encourage supporters to consider establishing scholarship funds to assist students in achieving their academic goals.
The application period for the 2026-2027 academic year is now open and will close March 15. Interested students can apply online at https://nemcc.awardspring.com, according to the college.
