NEMCC Baseball Cancels Delta State Event, Hosts Coahoma in Doubleheader

North East Mississippi Community College baseball announced Tuesday it will no longer take part in a round-robin event at Delta State scheduled for tomorrow.

Instead, the team will host Coahoma Community College in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m., according to school officials.

Admission to the doubleheader is free, and fans are encouraged to attend and support the Tigers, the school said.

The change in schedule was announced via social media and reflects a shift in plans for the team’s upcoming games.
