Northeast Mississippi Community College baseball and Marion Military Institute have changed their series schedule because of upcoming inclement weather, according to school officials.
The teams will now play at Marion, Alabama, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, instead of the original home game. The Tigers will host Marion Military at The Plex on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Details of the series swap were announced Monday, with officials citing weather concerns as the reason for the schedule change.
The series will now be played in reverse order, with the teams traveling to each other’s locations on different dates. The change aims to ensure the games can be played safely and without weather disruptions.
