NEMCC Baseball opens season with round-robin tournament against rivals

Northwest Mississippi Community College baseball team kicks off its season with a round-robin tournament at Jim Miles Field in Senatobia, Mississippi.

The Tigers will face Itawamba Community College at 2 p.m. and Northwest Mississippi Community College at 5 p.m. on the opening day, according to schedules posted by the college.

Fans can watch the games live at nwccrangers.com/watch. The tournament marks the team’s first competition of the season, setting the stage for their upcoming schedule.

The event is part of NEMCC’s efforts to build momentum for the season and gauge the team’s readiness for conference play, the college said.
