Northeast Mississippi Community College Campus Police will host a free vehicle safety check on March 5 to assist students and staff preparing for Spring Break travel.
The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the end of the boulevard by the fountain. Officers will inspect oil levels, washer fluid, tire pressure, tire tread, and lights and signals.
The safety check aims to ensure vehicles are roadworthy before long trips. College officials encourage students to take advantage of the service to travel confidently. Safe travels start at Northeast Mississippi Community College, officials said.
